Lead macOS / Jamf Engineer
New York City, New York, United States
Apply for this job

A top-tier law firm in Manhattan has an opportunity for a Senior Mac Engineer / Architect as the firm continues to invest heavily in technology and digital transformation.

You’ll take ownership of the firm’s macOS environment, building out the structure, standards, and automation that are not fully in place today. Apple is already widely used across the firm, but the environment is not yet fully standardized.

You’ll lead the implementation and continued evolution of Jamf, establishing standards across provisioning, patching, security, enrollment, and lifecycle management. Apple Business Manager, enrollment workflows, and device management will not simply be tasks you support. You’ll help define how they should be done.

This role sits within Infrastructure, not Support. You’ll stay close to the end-user experience, especially at the executive level, but your focus will be engineering a scalable, well-run macOS environment.

The firm has also invested in Apple-based AV and collaboration technology, so you’ll work with modern conferencing environments designed around macOS rather than added as an afterthought.

You’ll work closely with teams across cloud, identity, and endpoint engineering, including Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune. You do not need to own the Windows environment, but you should understand how macOS fits into a broader, cross-platform infrastructure.

You’ll have a real voice in the direction of the environment. The expectation is that you bring ideas, establish standards, improve automation,

and take ownership of how the platform continues to evolve.

This is an opportunity to build a macOS environment that delivers a seamless experience at scale rather than reacting to issues after the fact.
