A top-tier law firm in Manhattan has an opportunity for a Senior Mac Engineer / Architect as they push forward with major investments in technology and digital transformation.
You’ll take ownership of the firm’s macOS environment, building out structure, standards, and automation that aren’t fully in place today, in an environment where Apple is already widely used but not fully standardized.
You’ll lead the implementation and ongoing evolution of Jamf, building out standards across provisioning, patching, security, and lifecycle management. Apple Business Manager, enrollment workflows, and device management won’t just be tasks you support. You’ll define how they should be done.
This sits within infrastructure, not support. You’ll stay close to the end-user experience, especially at the executive level, but your focus is on engineering a scalable, well-run macOS environment. The firm has also invested in Apple-based AV and collaboration tools, so you’ll be working with modern conferencing environments designed around macOS, not bolted onto it.
You’ll work alongside teams across cloud and identity, including Azure, Entra ID, Office 365, and Intune. You don’t need to own Windows, but you do need to understand how macOS fits into a broader, cross-platform environment.
You’ll have a real voice in direction. The expectation is that you come in with ideas, build standards, and help move things forward.
You’re building an environment that delivers a seamless experience at scale, not reacting to issues after the fact.
