This is the first AI developer role inside a growing team at a law firm that’s making a real investment in AI and building something tangible.
You’ll step in where the expectation isn’t to experiment, it’s to build. You’ll take internal ideas and early “vibe-coded” tools and turn them into real, production-ready applications that attorneys and staff actually use. This is a hands-on role where you’ll also work directly with users, gather requirements, and shape what gets built.
This isn’t a slow-moving environment. The team is small, decisions get made quickly, and there’s very little red tape. You’ll have a high level of autonomy and the ability to actually move things forward.
You’ll be working closely with senior engineering and PMO leadership, with the goal of standing up a full AI environment in Azure by the end of the year.
From a technical standpoint, you should be comfortable building full-stack applications and working with APIs. The environment includes C#, React, Node, and SQL, but what matters most is your ability to build end-to-end AI-driven applications using tools like Claude, GPT, or similar. If you’ve been using AI to actually ship things, not just test ideas, this will line up.
The firm is based just outside NYC in New Jersey and offers a hybrid schedule with work from home on Mondays and Fridays. It’s also in a strong growth phase, currently around 750 employees and expecting significant expansion over the next few years. That creates real opportunity for this role to evolve as AI becomes a bigger part of how the business operates.
